Houston, we have a three month old!
In honor of the occasion, and to celebrate Operation Purge, I'm giving away a book from our Amazon book store to one lucky reader. Please comment on this post (limit one comment, please) and tell me about your favorite book. Also, leave your email address so I can contact you if you're the winner. I'll allow entries until noon (Pacific Time) on Friday.
Good luck!

My favorite book varies...Cathcher in the Rye is pretty steady favorite, along with The Great Gatsby & I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
OOO a book giveaway!! Hmm, I have a few favorites. One is Jane Eyre. I read it first when I was 12. And I've gone through 4 copies since because I read it so much. Then there's A Wrinkle in Time, Great Expectations, Outlander, and Tender is the Night. I'm a sucker for a romance.
HAPPY THREE MONTH BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!!
My current fave is Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld and a book I keep going back to would be 1984
My favorite book is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. It is one of the first books that I ever read and it seems that nothing can replace it.

I'll give you two! My favorite as an adult is The Time Traveler's Wife - it just speaks to me like no other book ever has before. As a kid, my favorite book was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I was shocked to realize that Jim has never even heard of it. !!! As I told him, if we ever have kids, that will be the first book I buy for them. :)
My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. Or Angela's Ashes.
Well...let's see....I guess my favorite book would have to be Delores Claiborne. It just amazes me how he (Stephen King) can have such insight of what a woman goes threw and the different emotions that a woman has. This coming from a male author is just so amazing to me.
I'm a nerd. My all-time favorite is Tolkien's trilogy, Lord of the Rings. I discovered it in 1976 (at age 20), read it constantly that year, then 3 times a year at least through my twenties, and once a year after that. (I'm almost 54.) I'm enough of a nerd to be annoyed when Peter Jackson's films didn't stay true to the books, changing the way Tolkien painted the characters. (No, Sam would NEVER leave Frodo!)
My favorite book is "Winter of Fire" by Sherryl Jordan. I read it in junior high and the book and the images conjured in my head from reading it have not left me to this day. Sure, not the greatest book ever written, but the story is about a rebellious female heroine and her journey fighting injustice and sexism in a dark time. I loved it so much. I still have the book, two copies in fact, and I will NEVER give them away. :)
My favorite book is Witch Baby by Francesca Lia Block. About a young girl in Los Angeles trying to find her way. I borrowed the title of my blog from her!
