Facebook has stolen my brain.

It's true. I've been sitting here at my laptop for a good while now, trying to think of something to write about. I have 32 drafts of posts that could be finished, I have countless photos that I haven't shared. But it all feels like just too much. All I want to do is refresh my screen to see if one of my friends wins a Farmville ribbon so I can get in on the celebratory coins.

Let it be known, though, that I haven't checked Facebook in one whole hour.

However, today I did get quite a few things done: I signed Roy and myself up for new, better life insurance policies, I made an important phone call about my 401K account, I renewed our AAA membership, I wrote some emails and made some other phone calls. It was definitely a productive day, but I have a major case of the blahs now.

It's going to be a long month, I can already tell.

PS - Don't forget to enter my book giveaway!

I just got back from my first trip to the supermarket with Isaac. It was like I was carrying a timebomb. I ended up forgetting to buy most of what i needed. But just getting there and back with a baby marinating in his doodoo and a smile on his face made me feel proud. Even if it wasnt entirely productive.

p.s i have not succumbed to the temptation of Farmville yet.
Not yet!

Sue - lolsies, for real

khairun - Love the "marinating in his doodoo" bit. I might have to steal that. I'm glad you got out for a bit - it does wonders for me!
